口腔機能分子生物学講座 [口腔生化学]

沿革及び特徴

生化学の領域は非常に広く,各専門教育の導入として重要な科目であります。2年生後期には主として一般生化学の内容となる口腔生化学Iを担当し,3年前期には結合組織,カルシウム代謝,唾液成分,齲蝕のメカニズムなどを中心とした口腔生化学IIを担当しています。この他,他科との連携を重視し,多角的に理解を深めるようなカリキュラムを組んでいます。

私たちの教育理念は,生体の代謝を学び,いかに生体恒常性が維持されているか,また,代謝の破綻が病気を引き起こすことや異常代謝を人為的に調節することが病気の治療の基本であることを平易に教授し,高質な歯科医療を行うことのできる人材を育成することであります。私たちは,専門知識の習得のみならず,医療従事者で共通した基礎知識の習得は,チーム医療を支える共通認識につながると考えています。


主な研究

硬組織に関する研究、特に骨芽細胞の分化制御に関する研究や,がん細胞の生物学的特性、特に癌細胞の転移の機構に関する研究を行っております.
私たちの研究室では,大学院歯学研究科口腔生理生化学専攻科目として,次の研究を行っております.

  3. オステオネクチンノックアウトマウスの解析
  4. 癌細胞の浸潤転移機構の解析
  5. 酸性微小環境と癌細胞の悪性形質に関する研究
  6. 酸性細胞外pHに対する細胞内情報伝達機構の解析
